The course is suitable for candidates who will sit their part B in September 2026, Cairo (RCSI)
The course will take place in the period between the 1st to the 3rd of September 2026
- Demonstration of the key clinical examination tests on simulated patients
- Demonstration of the key procedural skills on special maquettes and mannequins
- Real-time feedback about your performance
- Dedicated handbook ( detailed checklists)
- Plenty of hands-on experience
- The delegates will be divided into 10 groups
- The course will cover the following sections over 3 days: (each candidate will attend two and a half days)
*1st of September :(Clinical examination seminar +Hands-on practice session)
All the commonly encountered clinical examination stations will be practised on actors, including Respiratory, CVS, Neurological, Orthopaedic, Abdominal and Head and Neck examinations.Your performance will be evaluated against established checklists, and you will receive feedback.
*2nd of September- History taking and Communication skills
Timed practice of the most commonly encountered information-gathering and information-giving stations in similar exam conditions, including patient notes and different charts.
*3rd of September -Procedural skills
The following stations will be demonstrated and practised:
1- Wound suturing
2- Knot tying
3- Male catheterisation
4- Abscess drainage
5- Naevus excision
